to their position
Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD)
Striker II
The Striker II HMD builds on the decades of combat-proven performance from the original Striker, used on Typhoon and
Gripen aircraft. The only full colour solution with integrated night vision available anywhere, Striker II gives pilots unparalleled situational awareness, next generation EBAPS™ night vision, and battle proven target tracking technology – all in an integrated, visor-projected digital HMD system.

An integrated night vision camera eliminates the need to manually configure and adjust night vision goggle (NVG) hardware for day-to-night transitions.
Cutting-edge tracking technology ensures the pilot’s exact head position and the aircraft’s computer are in sync, allowing Striker II to perfectly position symbology onto the visor, in relation to the real word.
The only HMD to combine daylight readable, colour symbology with a binocular 40 degree field of view. In a combat environment, being able to instantly see an enemy in red symbology, and friendlies in blue, canbe critical in the success
of a mission.
Supports picture-in-picture technology that displays separate imagery, such as a
live video feed, in a small offset window away from of the main display - large enough to analyse, but positioned so not to detract from essential flight information.
